Confection Perfection all began around 10 years ago with Humpty Dumpty: a character my son adores (or rather adored, he'll never forgive me, now 14!). Having made a special birthday cake that year, friends and family started to ask me to create similar cakes for other special occasions. It wasn't long before I converted this enjoyment and passion for baking into a full time career.
1500 weddings, 750 christenings, 300 corporate cakes, 2000 birthday's later, Confection Perfection, (now a strong team of ten!) continues to provide delicious hand made cakes to order.
A natural progression was the introduction of cake baking courses and workshops. Timing the courses in autumn and spring allows people time to develop their skills and the techniques ahead of Christmas, Weddings and any other celebrations!

The Confection Perfection team is like the perfect cake. Each member brings a special ingredient to the mix; a little zing from Rachel, a touch of knowhow from Debs, a sprinkling of specialist sugarcrafting skills from Emma. Together, we work to create the perfect cakes for our customers.
| Annabelle With extensive cake baking and decorating experience, Annabelle established Confection Perfection in 2001. Whether baking, decorating or eating, Annabelle's first love is cake. Highly creative and artistic, Annabelle creates many of the intricate flowers and bespoke designs for wedding cakes and celebrations. Annabelle regularly teaches at both the Hildenborough Shop and in the new purpose built studio at Barming. Her work is regularly featured in industry magazines and she, along with the rest of the Confection Perfection team have earned a strong reputation for delivering beautiful, delicious cakes to a consistently high standard. |

| Billie Billie's natural flair for cake design was spotted whilst studying for her first PME diploma. Now a senior cake designer based at our Barming store Billie is responsible for the smooth running of our kitchen. Highly talented and hard working Billie bakes and decorates cakes to the highest standards. Modelling is just one of her many areas of expertise and Billie tutors a few select courses in this area. |

| Christine Christine joined the team over a year ago bringing with her a wealth of knowledge to help inspire our students and customers. A member of the British Sugarcraft Guild Christine is an expert in all aspects of cake making, whether offering advice in our shops to helping customers to choose their perfect wedding/celebration cake. Christine also regularly runs our flower workshops teaching our students how to make stunning sugar flowers. |

| Daryll Director of Confection Perfection and office manager, Daryll works behind the scenes to ensure the efficient and smooth running of both our shops. From updating the website, organising staff, managing course bookings, paying bills and even mopping the floor Confection Perfection relies heavily on Daryll's hard work and expertise. |

| Deb Having joined the team over two years ago, Deb has become a highly skilled cake baker and designer. Overseeing every step of the baking and decorating process, there are very few Confection Perfection cakes that haven't had Deb's expert eye cast over them to ensure they are flawless. |

| Emma City and Guilds qualified in cake decorating, Emma is an expert in figure modelling. Whether producing teddy bears, tortoises or tinkerbells, Emma has an attention to detail and passion for cake decorating that achieves outstanding results. Emma has worked at Confection Perfection for nearly eight years. |

| Nori The newest addition to the Confection Perfection team Nori is based at both the Barming and Hildenborough stores. With a wealth of artist talent and creativity Nori is involved in the creation of cakes and serving customers. |

| Paul As a qualified chef, Paul undertakes much of the preparation at Confection Perfection. Using the finest ingredients, Paul brings a methodical approach to cake baking. He carefully prepares every element to ensure the final result is pure perfection! |

| Rachael A regular member of the team during holidays and weekends, Rachael works with customers to help them get the most from a visit to Confection Perfection. With a steady hand and an eye for glamour, Rachel is a skilled sugarcraft painter, and has recently produced a number of handbags and red sparkly shoe designs which have proved a real hit with customers! |

| Susan Ryan Sue has joined the Confection Perfection Team as our guest tutor, as a trained chocolatier Sue will be running new and exciting chocolate courses. Spurred on by a passion for good Chocolate, Susan trained in all aspects of Chocolate work at Slattery's School of Excellence in Manchester and owns her own Chocolate Company. Susan's aim is to teach our students skills to make beautiful and innovative chocolate products that not only look stunning but taste fantastic too. |

| zAmy Amy is our apprentice. Based at both the Hildenborough and Barming stores Amy is also studying at The National Bakery School in London. Amy is in charge of our edible cake decorations ranging from shoes through to golf bags. Amy always offers exceptional service and advice to all our customers. |
