Description: The wedding demonstration is a very popular day. We cover all you need to know when planning a wedding cake from what size cakes to make, how to select flavours, colour schemes, transporting your masterpiece, construction and design of stacked cakes, using pillars, stands. We also demonstrate how to marzipan and ice a cake to achieve a smooth professional finish, we discuss timings, health and safety considerations. In addition to discussing tiered cakes we also cover what you need to know for cupcakes and individual cakes. Previous students have always gone home amazed at what they have learnt in just one day. It is a demonstration rather than a practical course and comprehensive notes are provided.

Payment is due at the time of booking to secure your place.

Please note that your payment is non-refundable. If you need to transfer your course to an alternative date or topic you may do so if it is more that two full weeks before your course date. A £10.00 transfer fee will apply. We regret that we are unable to accept any transfers within two weeks of your course date.

If for any reason we need to cancel the course we will give you as much notice as possible and we will offer you a full refund or a place on another course to the same value.

I understand a certain amount of specialist equipment and materials will be required for some of the courses.
