We will bake a rich fruit cake for you. You will spend 3 hours under the guidance of an expert tutor transforming your cake into a 'mug'.
How to marzipan your cake.
How to create patterned paste
How to ice your cake using the panelling method
Tutorial - how to make a candy cane handle (we will make yours in advance so it is dry)
How to create a textured board
How to use moulds to make embellishs of your choice - gingerbread people, gonks, Christmas trees etc
How to create whipped 'cream'
How to embellish your mug with sparkle and sprinkles
Storage & transportation
In the picture we have included a mini gingerbread house - this is NOT part of the course, this is an additional idea. In the shop we have the cutter set and a recipe card, we can also talk you through how to make this.

Annabelle established Confection Perfection (now re-branded as Annabelle Jane Cake School) in 1996 from her kitchen table; bought her first retail premises in 2000 and is now settled in a delightful setting in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone. Annabelle has extensive cake decorating experience and is highly creative and artistic. Annabelle is an accredited tutor for the PME Diplomas in Sugar craft and also designs and delivers a wide range of other highly successful cake baking and decorating classes. Annabelle has a huge vision for our Cake School and ensures that the strong reputation we have earned continues to grow lead by her consistently high standards.

Lyn
Tutor
Lyn is a highly experienced and accomplished cake decorator, especially when it comes to modelling and shoes. Calm, patient and kind Lyn shares her knowledge clearly and is always there to help.
Everything provided including the cake, marzipan, all icings and a box. Course attendees will also receive comprehensive course notes.
You make like to bring an apron (please don't buy one as we do have spares)
